Wayne, my intention was not to tear anything apart. I appreciate a place to rope more than you know. I was only trying to get a clarification from someone who was probably there. I know how difficult it is to classify ropers since I have been at this since way before classifications. I understood perfectly what you said, I just didn't know how it was going to affect the older ropers. As for me, I was making a joke about how much I expect to improve since having 2 total knee replacements and my bicep reattached. I have always supported everything you have done and if I have offended you, I apologize, and if you would like me to publicly apologize, the first roping I come to I will do so. thanks RDF
Yes very sorry for the F-Bomb in my poem. As it was there to drive a point not be profane. I added a new poem though to explain the old days and profanity. I do appreciate your success and your web site. I really wish I could meet you and I'm working toward that goal right as we speak as I have the most privileges as I can possibly have where I'm held. I have a very high VRA violent risk assessment and I haven't had a fight in 3 years. The past haunts me. Poetry helps me deal with my frustrations. If you don't think frustrations are coming to the cattleman in unpredictable weather think again and they will be popping off to.
I'm going to OU in August and I'm looking for somewhere to rope (team or breakaway). Do you know of anyone within an hour or two of the Norman/OKC area who holds roping lessons/practices and provides horses? I'm a #2 header and healer but I'm comfortable riding any type of horse.
My son roped in Brandon, Ms. On August 4 and 5. We paid for the full membership with the understanding since it was after July it would count for the upcoming year too. He roped in the 13 but I don't see him listed in that division. Did I misunderstand or was it just an oversight? His name is Ethan Brannon, Mayo, Fl. Thanks
