"Travis have you gone Pro too? I haven't paid much attention until recently. I got bipolar/addictions in 1995 so I bottomed out in my struggles to win some. I had a $10,000 horse Cisco that was sweet and a Turbo Ford and 3-horse Charmac…"
"Travis it seemed like a flawless run to me. Only what your horse can handle when you buzz the rope faster going to the calf??? It looked really great though and it is your style. Smooth as heck and the horse sure looks good. I guess that is a tough…"

"It looks like you set up a nice run for yourself and stayed close to your horse. Great job. Keep up the hard work and dedication as you never know the good breaks you can get down the road. Calf roping life is a really classy life, but also very…"

When I study the Guthrie tape "I am not for sure so don't hold me to this," but there is the horse speed and the calf speed that don't match up and it makes for a lot of clean catch problems. Johnny Sloan taught me how to throttle a horse in the box and it made a significant change in Cisco a horse owned by Willard Moody I bought from Brent Lewis and had to fix in the box. Instead of holding a horse's reins while SCORING you let them either stay tight to the back or let them walk out with the calf. I feel this makes them THROTTLE on your hand and very free to use your reins in the arena when the gap between the calf and the horse gets crazy like that and you adjust other places. I'm not 100% sure on this theory. Dave Cannon Jr. told me you have to gain knowledge from guys that are winning so I'm not one to speak. This could just be a story? Thanks for reading pardner
